Me: “What do you think of Thanksgiving?”
Mother: “Ummm….it’s a nice idea, it’s….a nice holiday. It’s just not a BIG deal to me. Why?”
Me: “Just curious.”
Me: “What’s your favorite part of it?”
Mother: “I don’t know.”
Me: “To me it’s the pie, hahaha. And being with family.”
Me: “Would you agree?”
Mother:”Yes, I agree.”
Me: “cool”
Me: “Are you jealous I get the birthday in the cool month?”
Mother: “No, I like my birthday.”
Me: “And so you are saying, you like Thanksgiving, it is a nice holiday, but no BIG deal?”
Mother: “Yeah, what are you writing a book or something? I feel like I a being interviewed, are you?”
Me: “*trying to hold in laughing* YES!”
